Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced FLT / General Operative to join our manufacturing client to work onsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating forklifts, operating the control panel, carrying goods to the skip.
Duties
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move goods within the yard.
- Assist with materials handling, including stacking, organising, and storing stock items
- Operating the control panel, watching the screen to check no objects get stuck
- Conduct basic equipment repairs or report faults to maintenance teams promptly
- Removing defect goods and disposing of in the skips
- Heavy lifting will be involved
- Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Working hours:
3 week rotating shift pattern.
6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am
Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: £13.45
Pay: From £13.45 per hour
