Are you calm under pressure, highly organised, and ready to make a difference where it really matters? We are looking for a resilient, proactive and compassionate Senior First Aider to join our busy secondary school environment to provide vital first aid and medical support to our students. This is a dynamic role that goes beyond routine care — you’ll be at the heart of our pastoral team, supporting young people with empathy, efficiency, and unwavering professionalism.
This is a role for someone who thrives when every day is different, who can stay composed in high-pressured situations, and who has the drive to get things done with warmth, discretion and precision.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responding to day-to-day first aid incidents and accidents with calm efficiency
- Supporting students with both short- and long-term medical needs
- Maintaining and managing student medication, including EpiPens and inhalers
- Writing and updating Care Plans in collaboration with families and staff
- Coordinating the school’s immunisation programme
- Managing confidential medical records and providing medical lists for trips and other activities

- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
- Confidence in prioritising tasks and staying calm in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft365
- A can-do attitude and commitment to student wellbeing
