John M Munro Ltd is a long-established, family-owned abattoir and meat wholesaler with over 100 years of trading. We supply high-quality, fully traceable meat to independent butchers across Scotland and operate our own retail shops and manufacturing operations.
We are currently looking to recruit a Meat packer to join our production team at our Dingwall site.
The Role
As a Meat Packer, you will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately packed, labelled and prepared to a high standard for dispatch. This is a hands-on role in a chilled food production environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Packing fresh meat products in line with customer and specification requirements
- Boxing products ready for storage or dispatch
- Accurate labelling of products, including date codes and traceability information
- Stock rotation in line with FIFO principles
- Accurate labelling and checking of weights and product details
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety and traceability
- Working to production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy in line with company procedures
- Working effectively as part of a team
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm
- Total hours: 38 hours per week
Pay: £12.75-£13.00 per hour
