As a Barista, you will be essential in delivering high-quality coffee and exceptional customer service during weekend shifts. Reporting to the Cafe Supervisor, you will utilize your barista experience to prepare beverages and serve customers efficiently. Your knowledge of food safety will ensure compliance with health standards, while your skills in food display, and time management will enhance operational efficiency. SHIFT RUNNER
- KEY HOLDER responsibility
- Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
- Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions confidently.
- Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for all drinks.
- Maintains inventory levels and ensures stock rotation policies are followed.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
- Clean As You Go and Deep Clean, fundamental and mandatory.
- Clears and cleans tables in a timely fashion (Under two minutes).
- Ensures bar area is clean and tidy at all times.
- Regularly checks food displays and improves aesthetics where possible.
- Checks production levels to ensure sales are maximised.
