HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights – 4 on 4 off, 18:00 Start)

This role is based at our client's warehouse in Linwood, Paisley. This is your daily reporting location — not our NSD Airdrie depot.
Interviews will be held at our Glasgow depot in Airdrie. Full address will be provided on invitation to interview.
About the Role
National Sameday is a leading sameday logistics company operating across six major UK airports. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Glasgow team on a permanent nights contract.
This is a 4 on 4 off nights role with an 18:00 start, based at our client's site in Linwood, Paisley. You will be delivering goods across the UK as part of a structured and well-supported operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 HGV to deliver goods across the UK
- Load and unload cargo securely and responsibly
- Complete pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
- Adhere to drivers' hours rules and Working Time Directive at all times
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and fuel usage
- Comply with all traffic laws, regulations and company policies
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (Category CE) with proven commercial driving experience
- Driver CPC qualification (card must be in date)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Self-motivated, reliable and able to work nights independently
- Flexibility to work 4 on 4 off nights — 18:00 start
- FLT experience desirable but not essential
