Following a £500,000 investment, The Plough Inn is being completely transformed. Alongside a stunning refurbishment of the pub, we're creating a brand-new commercial kitchen and are looking for someone with the passion, ambition and creativity to bring it to life.

What You'll Be Doing
· Designing and developing our menus.
· Creating seasonal specials.
· Choosing suppliers and sourcing quality ingredients.
· Recruiting, training and leading your own kitchen team.
· Setting the standards from day one.
· Managing food quality, GP and stock.
· Working closely with the management team to help establish The Plough Inn as one of Shropshire's best-loved destination pubs.
Who We're Looking For
We're far more interested in attitude than job titles.
You may already be an experienced Head Chef looking for a fresh challenge, or you may be an exceptional Sous Chef who's ready for the opportunity you've been waiting for.
What matters most is that you:
· Love producing fantastic food.
· Have ideas and want the freedom to bring them to life.
· Lead by example.
· Take pride in your work.
· Understand the commercial side of running a successful kitchen.
· Want to build something you'll be proud of.
· Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate (essential), or a willingness to obtain this before starting.
