Due to the exciting expansion of our nursery at Sand & Stars, we are looking to welcome enthusiastic, passionate & dedicated early years professionals to join our growing team.
Following the continued success of our current setting, we are delighted to be relocating. As we prepare for this new chapter, we are recruiting additional team members.
We are looking for 2x level 3 practitioners, 2x level 2 practitioners & Bank staff. These roles will be term time only positions.

Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and deliver age appropriate activities that promote children's development following the EYFS and the nursery curriculum.
- Supervise & Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, play, rest, and learning sessions.
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment upholding health and safety policies within the setting.
- Observe children in their play and maintain accurate records of children's progress.
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times and complete ongoing safeguarding training.
Experience & Qualifications
- You will need childcare qualifications such as NVQ in childcare at level 2 & 3 or higher. For bank role staff, qualifications are desirable although not essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable.
- An enhanced DBS and being registered on the update service is essential for this role.
- Paediatric first aid trained.
- Knowledge and understanding of early years and the EYFS
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Pay: £16,534.78-£34,052.52 per year
