Providing support across all Club locations and undertaking a range of responsibilities including security operations, fire and life safety, alarm monitoring, CCTV and video surveillance, incident management, investigation support, and the dispatch of safety and security resources as required.
Operating in a role comparable to that of a modern security control room operator, Security Operations Officers are responsible for dispatching and coordinating responses to incidents occurring on Club premises or at Club events using appropriate communication systems and established procedures. They respond to and manage a wide range of incidents, including medical emergencies, burglar alarms, intruder alarms, fire alarms, duress alarms, and other security-related events, liaising with Police, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, and other emergency or public safety agencies where appropriate.
The role requires officers to assess, document, and escalate security incidents and workplace threats in accordance with Club policies and procedures. They are responsible for producing clear, concise, and factual incident reports for Security Management and other authorised stakeholders, while monitoring and reporting any unusual or abnormal conditions to the appropriate departments and personnel.
Working closely with Club Management, Facilities Maintenance and Construction, Network Operations, Medical teams, and other operational departments to support the effective management of business-critical incidents, planned events, and emergency situations. They receive, assess, and disseminate information from Security Officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, reporting parties, and external agencies via radio, telephone, email, and other communication platforms.
You also coordinate authorised after-hours access requests to Club properties, ensuring that appropriate security procedures are followed and accurate records are maintained.

You should have proven experience within a security function, preferably in a Security Operations Centre, control room, or similar environment, and hold a valid SIA CCTV Licence and UK driving licence.
You will have experience using security technologies including alarm monitoring, access control, video management, and crisis communication systems. Familiarity with platforms such as Smart PTT, Genetec, or similar VMS/SMS systems is desirable, with training provided where required. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency, are essential.
The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, luxury club environment. Strong communication skills, sound judgement, professionalism, and the ability to build effective relationships are essential. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays is required.
