Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and communal areas
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistency across all areas
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are adhered to
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning tasks
Experience
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and mops
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of health and safety standards related to cleaning operations
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
