Retrofit Coordinator
About the Role
Crawford & Co Surveyors are looking for an experienced and highly organised Retrofit Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a key position within the business, responsible for coordinating retrofit projects from initial assessment through to completion. You will work closely with homeowners, Retrofit Assessors, surveyors, contractors and installers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, professionally and in accordance with the required standards.
We are looking for someone who is confident managing multiple projects, comfortable working to deadlines and able to take ownership of their workload.
Essential Requirements
You must have:
- A recognised Retrofit Coordinator accreditation
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Retrofit Coordinator
- Strong working knowledge of PAS 2035 and the retrofit process
- Experience managing multiple retrofit projects simultaneously
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your workload
- Good IT and administrative skills
- The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise competing workloads
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating multiple retrofit projects from initial assessment through to completion
- Reviewing retrofit assessments, improvement plans and associated project documentation
- Coordinating with Retrofit Assessors, surveyors, installers, contractors and homeowners
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring key deadlines are met
- Managing project programmes and outstanding actions
- Ensuring required PAS 2035 documentation is completed, accurate and kept up to date
- Reviewing project information and identifying potential issues at an early stage
- Communicating with clients and contractors throughout the project
- Dealing with queries and resolving issues efficiently
- Carrying out project and compliance checks
- Maintaining accurate project records and evidence
- Ensuring projects remain organised and progress through each stage efficiently
- Monitoring the quality and progress of works where required
- Keeping clients and relevant stakeholders informed of progress
- Managing your own workload and prioritising projects according to deadlines
- Supporting the wider Crawford & Co Surveyors team with the successful delivery of retrofit projects
The Person
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and able to manage.
You will need to be comfortable managing a busy workload and keeping multiple projects moving at the same time. Strong administration and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to spot issues, follow them through and ensure actions are completed.
