We are seeking an experienced Lettings Manager to lead our property management department. We have plans to grow our lettings portfolio and we are seeking ambitious and customer driven candidates to help us do this.

The Role
You will be responsible for our managed property portfolio alongside a Lettings Negotiator/Administrator. You will be supported by our Operations Director who is the compliance lead for the company. You must have industry experience in Letting Agency compliance as this forms a core part of this role. You will be familiar with recent regulatory changes and have an enthusiasm to keep up to date with future developments. You will be provided with access to courses, helplines and information about upcoming compliance changes and development. You will then be expected to implement these into our business processes together with the team.
This is a office based role within our existing property management department working alongside an experienced team.

Your day to day role will include;
- Ensuring our portfolio maintains compliance
- Overseeing and managing training and development of regulatory changes and procedures
- Administering new tenancies and drawing up legal paperwork using templates and resources provided
- Dealing with tenant and landlord queries and answering them using impeccable customer service skills
- Effective handling of maintenance jobs and queries both urgent and non-urgent
- Regulatory property certificate management
- Using lettings/estate agency software and Office 365
- Exceptional telephone, email and written communication skills
- Following processes and chasing jobs through with contractors
- Managing tenant, landlord and supplier accounts using software provided
- Actively seeking out new business in order to grow the firms managed portfolio
Important Information
Experience in residential lettings (non-student) is essential and must be a minimum of 2 years.
Industry qualifications are extremely desirable.
