Nexus Recruitment have been instructed by an established property management firm in the UK, on an exciting new position for their office in Manchester. Our client are looking for an experienced Block Property Manager to oversee a new portfolio into the business (leasehold). Core responsibilities:
- Full oversight of a leasehold residential portfolio in central Manchester and some in surrounding areas.
- Managing section 20 processes from start to finish through all 3 stages, with support from external contractors and surveyors.
- Setting and managing service charge budgets with the Client Accountants.
- Attending site visits and conducting detailed H&S, fire safety checks adhering to the building safety act
- Chairing and attending AGMs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive, forward-thinking business in the industry, and one that will give you internal progression as well! The following skillset/experience is required for this position:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Block Management, ideally at Property Manager level
- TPI level 2, 3 or 4 (or working towards)
- A full UK driving license and own car
- Previous experience managing section 20s, budgets and LPE1 forms
- Excellent attention to detail
