Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly capable and detail-driven Submarine Data & Stakeholder Integration Specialist to support the UK Dreadnought Programme, one of the most critical national defence programmes delivering the next generation of nuclear deterrent submarines.
This role is central to ensuring that mission-critical data requirements are defined, sourced, and managed effectively across a complex landscape of stakeholders, systems, and suppliers. The successful candidate will work closely with JDA personnel, BAE Systems system owners, and Ship’s Company, enabling accurate, compliant, and timely access to data that supports platform readiness and operational capability.
Responsibilities

Engage with programme stakeholders to identify, capture, and define data requirements across Dreadnought submarine systems

Collaborate with data suppliers to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant provision of data, aligned with programme and regulatory requirements

Act as an interface between JDA, BAE Systems system owners, and Ship’s Company, fostering effective communication and coordination

Support the integration and validation of technical and operational data across submarine systems
Ensure all data management activities comply with MOD security policies, nuclear enterprise standards, and programme governance -
Analyse and interpret data to support engineering, operational, and programme decision-making
Identify and resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, or accessibility issues within a highly controlled environment -
Maintain full traceability and auditability of data sources and flows

Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes, governance, and stakeholder engagement models
Required experience
-
Proven experience working with stakeholders to identify and define data requirements, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure delivery

Experience working on the Dreadnought, Astute, or other Royal Navy submarine programmes
-
Experience working within defence programmes or highly regulated environments, ideally within the nuclear or submarine domain

Working knowledge of submarine systems, including engineering, operational, or support functions
-
Ability to quickly establish credibility and strong working relationships across multidisciplinary teams
-
Strong analytical capability with exceptional attention to detail
Experience managing priorities in a complex, programme-driven environment
Desirable experience
-
Familiarity with nuclear enterprise requirements and associated governance frameworks

Understanding of defence data standards, information assurance, and data governance practices

Exposure to working with in-service support teams or Ship’s Company environments

Exposure working with submarine build programmes
