Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and professional individuals to join our team in a busy private members club. Full time hours available with shifts covering 7 days both behind the bar and running food. Some split shifts and late finishes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, serving drinks and food, and supporting the smooth operation of the venue. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings of at least 1 year is required. Contributory pension scheme and free on site parking.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and drink orders manually and using POS system
- Serve from the bar and to tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Work with team members to ensure smooth service delivery during shifts
Skills
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant environment
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Effective time management to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and attentiveness
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
