Team Member (with Training & Progression Opportunities)
30–45 hours per week | Daytime shifts only | No evenings
We’re looking for an experienced, friendly, and motivated Team Member to join our small team at The Old Post Office, a busy all-day brunch café in Guiting Power.
We’re known for great food, excellent coffee, and warm, relaxed service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality and wants to build a long-term career in the café industry.
The Role
You’ll be a key part of our busy brunch service, delivering excellent customer service and helping to keep the café running smoothly.
For the right person, we’ll provide full training in the kitchen, so we’re looking for someone who is happy to be flexible and work across both front and back of house.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming and looking after customers
- Making consistently great espresso-based coffee
- Running food and clearing tables
- Supporting the team during busy service
- Keeping the café clean, organised, and welcoming
- Learning kitchen duties and supporting the team where needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality experience
- An interest in cooking and learning kitchen skills is an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
- A positive team player with a willingness to learn
- Flexible and happy to work across different areas of the business

Career Progression
This is more than a front of house role. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us. As you develop your skills across both the café and kitchen, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a management role within the business.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
