Are you looking for opportunities to develop your career in a MHST service linked with a Youth Club?
We are looking for an ambitious individual who has a qualification from a Child Wellbeing course (CWP). Along with experience of delivering low-intensity evidence-based self-help interventions to children, young people, and their families. This role is based in Westminster at St. Andrew’s Youth Club.
You will:

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within Allkind Mental Health to increase and improve emotional and mental health support for children and young people (typically aged 8–18) attending or linked to St. Andrews Youth Club.

Work in partnership to support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, as well as their parents/carers and Youth Club staff, in the self-management of presenting difficulties.

Contribute to the development of individual or group clinical materials or training resources, and develop such materials independently within your own level of competence and under the direction of the wider team.
You are:

Qualified from the Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) Course.

Experienced and passionate about delivering specific therapeutic interventions to children, young people or their families, and eager to engage effectively and make a difference with the young people at St. Andrews Youth Club.

Experienced in working with anxiety disorders.

Experienced in working with affective (mood) disorders.
-
Experienced in the delivery of specific therapeutic interventions to children, young people or their families (e.g. CBT-informed approaches, solution-focused brief therapy).

Experienced in working with children and young people in a youth club, community, or non-clinical setting.
