Night Working Specialist Behavioural Support Worker

Vital Healthcare Services Limited is a supported living provider for people with mental health needs and learning disabilities. We support a wide variety of clients. Our service mainly focuses on providing support with peoples' day to day activities, medication administration, food and health routines, general care and support needs and overall healthy community integration and support.
Key Responsibilities as a support worker with us:
- Developing the Service User's independent living skills and involving them in all aspects of maintaining and developing their home, including cooking, shopping, cleaning and decorating;
- Supporting the Service User to manage their anxieties, challenging behaviour, using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Autism-specific approaches.
- Supporting the Service User with personal care (if required).
What we require from you:
- This role is for Night Awake Working - shifts range from 9 hours per night to 12 hours per night
-This is for the Suffolk area, mainly in Ipswich and outskirts
- We would prefer if you have existing experience in supported living. You may still apply if you do not, but you may not pass the initial stage.
- Flexibility required to work throughout the week - we operate on shift work, similar to hospitals so a fixed routine/rota is not something we can offer.
- Right to work in the UK - you must ALREADY have the right to work in the UK - we are currently NOT sponsoring for this job - please do not apply if you are looking to switch over from other visa types.
- Driving License (Preferred but not required)
