We have a new exciting opportunity to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic person to the role of Youth Worker Apprentice.
This is a unique opportunity to gain a JNC-recognised Level 6 Youth Worker Degree Apprenticeship whilst working as part of our Youth Work team. Over three years, you will work 30 hours per week, with one day each week dedicated to taught sessions at the University of Lancashire, developing the knowledge, skills and experience needed to become a qualified Youth Worker.
The successful candidate will work directly with young people aged 8–19, planning and delivering high-quality youth work programmes that support their personal, social and emotional development. You will help create safe, inclusive and engaging opportunities that promote wellbeing, resilience, leadership and participation, while supporting Activity Workers, Volunteers and Young Leaders to deliver an outstanding experience for our members.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with young people, eager to learn and committed to developing a career in youth work. You will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, share our commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusion, and be motivated to learn through both practical experience and academic study.
It is essential you have a passion for working positively with young people and delivering an excellent service. You must also be committed to working within the spirit of Mahdlo’s core values - Pride, Respect, Inclusion, Dependability and Excellence – which describe how we do things.
