Le Pinardier is looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Food Preparation & Hospitality Assistant to join our team.
This is not a chef or cooking position. The role is focused on preparing, portioning and presenting our food offering, while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and organisation.
It’s a varied, hands-on hospitality role. Alongside taking responsibility for the food-preparation area, you’ll be happy to help wherever needed—whether that means supporting the team on the floor, washing plates or pouring a few glasses during a busy service.
The role includes:
- Preparing, portioning and attractively presenting food
- Receiving, checking and correctly storing deliveries
- Monitoring stock levels, dates and product rotation
- Following portioning, presentation and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic preparation area
- Completing food-safety checks and required records
- Following allergen, food-hygiene and EHO requirements
- Washing plates, utensils and preparation equipment when needed
- Assisting with service on the floor during busy periods
- Pouring and serving wine and other drinks when required
- Working closely with the wider team to keep service running smoothly
You’ll ideally be:
- Experienced in hospitality, food preparation or a similar environment
- Organised, efficient and attentive to detail
- Confident following food-safety and allergen procedures
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Flexible and happy to help across different areas of the business
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests
- Reliable, calm and able to maintain standards during busy services
A Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate would be an advantage, although training can be provided for the right person.
