Role Description
The Office Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office by providing administrative, organisational, and clerical support to the business. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Salary
£30000 - £38000 subject to experience, negotiable
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general office operations and administrative duties
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and customer enquiries professionally
- Maintain filing systems, records, and databases
- Collect, check, and record staff timesheets; manage time tracking systems.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and staff calendars
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Order and manage office supplies and equipment
- Support finance tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and purchase orders
- Assist the Accountant with preparing invoices, processing purchase orders, reconciling records, and maintaining accurate financial documentation
- Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- Maintain office health and safety records and compliance documentation
- Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining HR records
- Deal with Insurance renewals (motor, property, and company policies).
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers
- Ensure the office environment remains organised and professional
Experience Required
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional and approachable manner
Desirable not essential (training provided)
- Experience using office management or Sage accounting software
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Experience supporting finance, invoicing, or purchase order administration
