We’re looking for kind, reliable, and compassionate Community Care Workers to join our team and support people to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. This is a rewarding role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their local community.
About the role
As a Community Care Worker, you’ll provide personal care and practical support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life. You’ll build trusting relationships and become an important part of each person’s daily routine.
No two days are the same, but every day is meaningful.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care
- Assisting with mobility and transfers, using equipment where required
- Supporting with medication prompts or administration (where trained)
- Preparing simple meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration
- Providing companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
- Supporting with light household tasks related to care
- Respecting each person’s choices, routines, and preferences
- Keeping clear and accurate care records
- Working in line with care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding guidance
Who we’re looking for
You don’t need previous experience – we value the right attitude above all else. We’re looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Comfortable providing personal care with dignity and sensitivity
- Able to work independently as well as part of a supportive team
- Willing to learn and complete training
- Experience in care is welcome but full training and ongoing support will be provided.
