We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental surgery in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care.
- Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and inventory control of dental supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance patient experience and improve service delivery.
Experience
- A strong foundation in patient care practices is crucial, alongside proficiency in English for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
- Nursing qualifications or certifications are advantageous, demonstrating your commitment to the profession.
- Familiarity with IT systems used in healthcare settings will be beneficial for managing records and appointments.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and providing clear information about treatments and procedures.
