We are currently seeking 3 dedicated and enthusiastic kitchen assistants to join our established team at our residential care home. The kitchen assistants play a key role in supporting our kitchen staff in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents.
Duties will include;
- Assisting with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the cook
- Serving meals to residents in a timely and respectful manner
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Following all food safety and food hygiene guidelines
- Assisting with stock control
- Providing support to the cook and other assistants as needed
The ideal person will have similar experience and hold a food hygiene certificate, however full training can be provided. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of all relevant legislation as required by the Environmental Health Food safety.
