Before You Apply – Right to Work in the UK
Please read this carefully before applying.

Please only apply if you already have an unrestricted legal right to live and work in the UK.
If you require sponsorship now or in the future, we regret that we cannot consider your application.
Home Care Done Properly
We’re building a reputation for the quality of our small, stable team of skilled Home Care Assistants supporting people in their own homes in Dumfries and the surrounding area.
This isn’t agency work.
It isn’t rushed.
It isn’t about squeezing as many visits into the day as possible.
We believe that great care is built on continuity, trust and relationships. Our standards don’t slip, and we expect the people who join us to take genuine pride in delivering care that enhances people’s lives.
If you’re dependable, thoughtful and comfortable taking responsibility, you may have found the right place.
The Role
You’ll help people remain safely and happily in the place that matters most—their own home.
Your work will include:
- Providing personal care with dignity, compassion and respect.
- Supporting clients with washing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
- Preparing meals and encouraging good nutrition.
- Administering or assisting with medication where appropriate.
- Providing companionship and taking a genuine interest in each client’s wellbeing.
- Helping with light household tasks including shopping, laundry and cleaning.
- Following care plans carefully while using sound judgement when circumstances change.
- Recording care accurately using our digital care systems.
- Working closely with families and colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care.
- Driving between clients’ homes throughout the local area.
This isn’t rushed or transactional work.
It’s calm, thoughtful, professional care—done properly.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for people who are:
- Above all, genuinely kind, honest and dependable.
- Calm under pressure and able to think for themselves.
- Comfortable accepting responsibility and exercising good judgement.
- Friendly and able to build trusting relationships with a wide variety of people.
- Flexible enough to work a mixture of days, evenings and weekends.
- Looking for a long-term career in care rather than simply a temporary job.
Whether you’re already experienced or new to care, what matters most is your attitude, values and willingness to learn. Full training is provided for the right person.

Excellent Training & Support
Whether you’re experienced or starting your career in care, we’ll invest in your development through structured training, mentoring and ongoing support.

We don’t simply complete tasks.
We help people continue living rich, independent and fulfilling lives in the homes they love.
