Hotel Receptionist
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and organised Hotel Receptionist to join our team.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, supporting the smooth running of the reception desk, and helping to ensure every guest has a positive experience from arrival through to departure.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Managing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Handling reservations and enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
Providing guests with information about hotel facilities, local attractions, transport and services.
Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
Maintaining an organised, professional and welcoming reception area.
Liaising with housekeeping, maintenance and management to resolve guest requests or issues.
Working closely with our restaurant team to ensure guests receive a seamless and enjoyable experience across the hotel.
Supporting communication between the reception and restaurant teams regarding guest requirements, bookings and requests.
Carrying out general office and administrative duties, including emails, record keeping, reservations and computer-based tasks.

Experience
Previous hotel experience is not essential. We are happy to consider candidates from office, administration, customer service, retail, restaurant or other relevant backgrounds who have the right attitude and transferable skills.
Good office and computer skills are important for this position, as the role involves managing reservations, emails, telephone enquiries, guest records and other administrative tasks.
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment would be an advantage, but full training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
