Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical installations across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, along with practical experience in handling electrical components and tools. The Electrician will play a vital part in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify faults accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute installations correctly.
- Test electrical systems for safety and compliance before commissioning or repair completion.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols to prevent accidents or hazards on site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
- Relevant qualification or certification in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Valid UK driving licence is essential. Candidates must demonstrate practical skills in handling electrical components safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality work.
Pay: £28,915.98-£48,020.03 per year
