Simply Performance is a leading provider of new, used, and reconditioned classic Jaguar parts. A key part of our business is the worldwide mail order of Jaguar car parts. Specialising in a specific range of Jaguar models, our in-depth knowledge and expertise in this niche make us highly regarded within the industry.
We operate across multiple platforms, including eBay, our own online shop (Odoo), and direct phone orders. All our packaging and shipping are handled in-house, utilising various courier services. We’re continuously expanding our product range and are even manufacturing our own line of parts.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team taking a lead role in operations and dispatch. This role spans across a few areas of the business and is critical to our operations. You will play a key role in the organisation of orders overseeing a small team picking and shipping. Overtime as product knowledge expands you can assist with stock re-ordering and some sales. Its important that you think of yourself as a reliable, organised and hard working individual.
This is an office based role and this role requires someone who is comfortable with manual tasks, has a keen attention to detail, and is eager to learn new skills. As much of our work involves handling car parts that can be dirty, you should be comfortable working in a workshop environment and not afraid to get your hands dirty. Training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to perform your duties.
The main systems being used:
- Odoo (our ERP which powers our stock, website, courier booking and is linked with eBay)
- Ebay
- Jaguar internal parts catalogue
- Gmail
- Microsoft excel
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day to day dispatch activities. Ensuring orders are correctly picked, handed to the packer and shipped on time.
- Ensure accuracy of product descriptions, pricing, and availability on all platforms.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
- Analyse sales trends and opportunities to expand product offerings and grow our range.
- Streamline and improve processes related to product management, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment.
- Responsible for updating and correcting product information to streamline the dispatch process.
- Organise and oversee incoming stock. Ensuring its stored in the correct location, inputted on our ERP and labeled correctly.
- Managing a small team working together to get all orders correctly processed.
- Assist with basic customer service and sales
Experience and Qualifications:
- A genuine enthusiasm and interest in cars, and even better with classic Jaguars. (preferred but not essential)
- Some basic mechanical knowledge or aptitude would be preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in an operations or dispatch role managing products or inventory on platforms such as eBay, Shopify, or similar e-commerce sites.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience and ability to use computer systems and ERP systems.
- Ability to use basic tools, including hand tools and power tools (training provided where necessary).
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
- Forklift operation experience is an advantage, though not essential.

Pay: £30,160.00-£38,610.00 per year
