Job Role: Subcontractor Account Administrator

Role & Responsibilities
This role will involve verifying subcontractor invoices and payment applications for accuracy and compliance. Ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time in accordance with company policies and HMRC regulations. Collaborate with site teams and sub-contractors to resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Managing subcontractor accounts to include:
- Processing and dealing with Sub-Contractor invoices and credit notes
- Dealing with and resolving sub-contractor queries
- Ensuring advance pay totals are reconciled
- Monthly statement reconciliations
- Ensuring rates are kept up to date and accurate
- Update and maintain Subcontractor logs ensuring all information is accurate
- Managing Subcontractor Invoices inbox and distributing to relevant folders.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of GRIP payments
- Collaborate with response maintenance team, project managers and site supervisors to resolve payment discrepancies and issues.
- General Response Maintenance Administration duties
- Ensure compliance with Response Department standards and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as required
As the successful candidate, you will have the following experience:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, ability to plan and prioritise a variety of work activities in a busy environment and meet strict deadlines.
- A flexible team player with the ability to support colleagues in the delivery of objectives.
- Strong numeracy and IT skills demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience of working in the construction industry and with sub-contractors would be preferable
