Dental Receptionist (Full-Time) – Join a Leading Mixed Dental Practice
We are looking for a friendly, professional and organised Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming, well-established mixed NHS and private dental practice.
With a team of over 50 staff, including specialists in implants, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, and periodontics, we provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
- Manage a busy appointment diary and optimise scheduling efficiency
- Confirm appointments and manage recalls to minimise gaps and cancellations
- Answer calls and respond to patient enquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in line with GDPR
- Process payments, deposits, and assist with billing queries
- Support patient flow and coordinate effectively with clinicians and nurses
- Provide clear information to patients regarding appointments and treatments
- Handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Keep the reception area organised, clean, and welcoming at all times
- Assist with general administrative tasks to support the practice
What We’re Looking For
- Previous receptionist / customer service / dental experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident with IT systems and admin tasks
- Calm, professional, and able to work in a busy environment
- Passion for patient care and high standards

Working Hours (33h 45 per week)
We operate a structured rota with full support during busy clinics.
Practice opening hours:
Mon–Thu: 7:00–20:00
Fri: 7:00–18:00
Sat: 7:00–15:00
Your rota includes:
Tuesday 14:15-20:10
Wednesday 14:15-20.10
Thursday 14:15 - 20:10
Friday 6:50 - 16:45
Saturday 06:50-15:10

From £12.71 per hour, depending on experience
