Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Senior Care Assistant to join our vibrant care home team. Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of person-centered care during night shifts, ensuring all residents’ needs are met with dignity and respect
- Supervise and support care assistants on duty, providing guidance and leadership to maintain high standards of care
- Implement and review individual care plans to ensure tailored support aligns with residents’ preferences and requirements
- Monitor residents’ safety and well-being through regular checks, responding promptly to any emergencies or concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation of night-time activities, incidents, and care provided in compliance with regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with day staff during handovers to ensure continuity of care and updated resident information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as updating records using IT systems and managing care documentation efficiently
Skills
- Proven experience in senior or supervisory roles within a care home setting, demonstrating strong leadership qualities
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, team members, and external professionals
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team while maintaining a positive working environment
- Knowledge of care plans, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory compliance within adult social care
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities during overnight shifts effectively
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
