Job Opening in Concierge Medicine – Experienced Private GP wanted
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Home Visiting Private GP & Concierge Doctor seeing patients in Central London. Part-time rota-based hours required for private home visits and virtual consultations for high-end and international patient population consisting of VIP clients and C-Suite business executives. Potential for growth as you expand your membership base. Most candidates will take on this role in addition to their NHS practice. You must be flexible to your private patients and expect to work evenings and weekends if they need you. When you are away, other doctors can cover you.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must hold medical degree and qualified as a practising primary care doctor - General Practitioner - in the UK (minimum 3 years’ experience in General Practice post MRCGP qualification).
- Must be receiving annual NHS appraisal and it is preferred that you maintain 1-2 sessions weekly with the NHS
- Experience with virtual / telephone consultations required
- Prior experience in private sector not essential
ABOUT THE PRACTICE/COMPANY:
HealthClic an upscale membership-based concierge medicine practice founded in 2015. Patients, who become member to register with the practice, are only one of 50 families registered with their HealthClic doctor, and receive direct access to HealthClic and their HealthClic private GP (concierge doctor), with same day appointments 365 days a year. We are currently looking at expanding our membership base by adding an additional physician that can grow their own patient list and assist with home visits and virtual consultations.
This is a patient-focused practice offering the highest levels of personalised care to patients with a dedicated support staff 365 days a year. DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs physical examinations of new and existing patients and determines imaging examinations and clinical laboratory tests required.
- Interprets examination findings and test results, and implements treatment plans, often co-ordinating care across various specialists and proactively leading the treatment plan.
- Prepares and reviews case histories.
- Provides continuing, comprehensive health maintenance and medical care to each member, focusing on preventive medicine.
- Directs to outpatient and facilitates inpatient care and services when necessary (access to private facilities provided by HealthClic)
- Determines need for consultation and assists in medical care treatment provided at the direction of other specialists.
- Proactive communication with other involved specialists’ in patient care.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Deliver exceptional high-quality care and remains accessible to your HealthClic member patients 7 days a week (if you are away, another HealthClic doctor can cover your consultations but all doctors are expected to be contactable 7 days a week)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the principles and practice of preventative medicine.
- Knowledge of the structure and function of the concierge medical practice.
- Skill in communicating effectively with patients and their families.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining proactive and effective working relationships with other involved practitioners, specialists and staff.
