E-Commerce Assistant
Hillington, Glasgow | Part-Time, Permanent | 16–20 hrs over 4–5 days per week Monday to Friday.
MSH has an exciting opportunity for an E-Commerce Assistant to join our small, fast-paced team in Hillington, Glasgow. We specialise in women's fashion, accessories, jewellery, and men's and women's socks, and we're looking for someone ambitious about e-commerce and trading who's keen to kick-start their career in a growing business.
What you'll be doing:
- Uploading products to marketplace channels (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, NOTHS, Mirakl and more) in a timely manner
- Writing engaging, customer-facing product copy across our fashion, accessories, jewellery and sock ranges
- Creating fresh, creative website content that drives customer engagement, sales and SEO performance
- Reviewing and improving the customer journey from category page through to product page and checkout
- Coordinating seasonal product launches with the buying team and content executive - ensuring images, descriptions and merchandising go live effectively and on time
- Preparing sites for sales events and seasonal marketing campaigns throughout the year
- Personalising and dispatching customer orders if required
- Supporting any customer service as needed
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a trading or e-commerce role
- Experience selling on Amazon and other marketplaces
- An interest in or knowledge of fashion, accessories and jewellery is a plus
- Confidence reading data and drawing practical conclusions from it
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and stay organised across a varied workload
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Good general IT skills
