We're looking for a motivated and hardworking Apprentice Plasterer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a skilled trade on the job while working towards a recognised qualification. You'll work alongside experienced plasterers on a variety of residential and commercial projects, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of plastering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified plasterers with preparing surfaces for plastering, including cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents
- Learn to mix plaster and render to the correct consistency
- Support with the application of plaster to walls and ceilings, including skimming, rendering, and finishing
- Keep the work area clean, tidy, and free of hazards
- Load and unload materials and tools, and keep stock organised
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Attend college or training provider sessions as required to complete apprenticeship coursework
- Take on increasing responsibility and independence as skills develop
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in plastering and the construction trade
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
- Good physical fitness (the role involves manual labour and working at height)
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- A full driving licence is desirable but not essential
- No prior experience necessary — full training provided
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths desirable
- Must be eligible to enrol on a recognised plastering apprenticeship (e.g. Level 2 Diploma in Plastering)
