Quality Control Operative
The Company are currently seeking applicants who would be interested in a development opportunity.
Due to a continued focus on improving our Quality Standards throughout the business we are seeking to recruit QC Operatives to work within the company.
Reporting to: QC Manager and Supervisors
Key Responsibilities and Duties
· End of line Quality checks in line with SOP for QC
· Identification of Quality issues at end of line and throughout the process
· Support the production operatives with identification of quality issues and implementation of corrective actions
· Work with production to reduce the number of remakes across the factories
· Communicate clearly with Quality Manager and Production Managers on targets, issues, guidelines, and daily requirements
· Ensure all work is cleared at the end of day
·Report on any QC issues on a daily basis
· Assist with resolving issues arising from customer complaints
Essential:
· A minimum of 6 months experience within a manufacturing environment
· Ability to identify and troubleshoot quality control issues
· Excellent communication skills
· A working knowledge of computer systems – Microsoft office package
· Be able to work with the minimum of supervision
· Be self-motivated and assertive enabling targets to be achieved and driving continuous improvement
· Flexible to work a reasonable amount of overtime
Desirable:
· Previous experience in a Quality Control role

Pay: £14.02 per hour
