We’re looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Support Worker to join our friendly and dynamic team at Royal Gwent Hospital .
As part of our RGH Community Occupational Therapy Team , you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey — helping them achieve meaningful goals and return safely to their homes. Working under the guidance of experienced Occupational Therapists, you’ll deliver hands ‑ on therapy sessions, assist with functional assessments, and contribute to discharge planning across our busy community wards.
You’ll thrive in a fast ‑ paced environment where teamwork, compassion, and initiative are valued every day. In addition to patient ‑ focused work, you’ll carry out essential administrative and housekeeping tasks that keep our service running smoothly.

Under the guidance and supervision of a registered occupational therapist , the post holder will assist in providing occupational therapy intervention to service users referred to the Occupational Therapy S ervice within a hospital or community setting.
The post holder will be expected to undertake specific technical and administrative tasks as delegated by a registered occupational therapist.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
