Bank Support Worker – Flexible Zero-Hours Opportunities

Our Support Workers play a vital role in day-to-day life, working as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, choice and inclusion.
You could be supporting individuals with daily living skills, accessing their local community, enjoying social activities, attending appointments or planning trips and activities.

Previous experience in social care is welcomed but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support in line with individual support plans
- Promote independence, dignity, choice and respect at all times
- Support with daily living tasks including cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting
- Assist individuals to access the community and take part in social activities
- Support with outings, trips and activities
- Maintain accurate daily records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and organisational procedures
Additional Information
Due to the nature of the role, there may be exposure to challenging behaviour, manual handling, medication administration and passive smoke environments. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you carry out your role safely and confidently.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a PVG disclosure check and work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, in line with government requirements.
