Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Caretaker with both cleaning and Caretaking responsibilities, to join our team primarily Pro rota basis within a primary school environment to maintaining cleanliness, hygiene standards and safety. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and committed to providing a clean and safe environment for all.
Caretaking Duties:
- Compliance checks, daily, Weekly and Monthly including accurate record keeping
- Routine maintenance and repairs
- Locking and unlocking of premises, Key holder responsibilities
- Refill supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels
Cleaning Duties:
- Clean and sanitise designated areas including washrooms, offices, and communal spaces
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and emptying bins
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Details
Term time work 39 weeks +3 weeks of out of term time included for deep cleans. Totalling a basic 42 week schedule (availability for additional hours during school holidays if desired) +4 weeks holiday pay.
Totalling 46 weeks paid over 52 weeks split over 12 months.
Hours of work to be discussed at interview: site opens 6:30am and PM shift can be semi-flexible from 3:30pm- to be discussed at interview and based on school usage of additional areas.
Monday to Friday 37 Hours per week.
We advise applicants with thier own transport and living in reasonable commute to Kneesall. We feel that with the likelihood of split shifts minimal travel would be ideal.
