At Baxter, every role contributes to our mission of Save and Sustain Lives. As a Production Technician, you'll play a critical part in manufacturing compounded medicines that patients depend on every day.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and takes pride in delivering quality, precision and excellence. You'll work in our state-of-the-art cleanroom facility, supporting the preparation, manufacture and inspection of life-saving medicines while developing valuable skills in aseptic production and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Based at our Stockport site, you'll work a rotating shift pattern, alternating weekly between:

06:00 – 14:00

14:00 – 22:00 (Twilight Shift)
Monday to Friday, with your weekends free.
As a key member of our Production team, you'll help ensure medicines are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing, compounding and manufacturing products in line with approved procedures and quality standards.

Working within a cleanroom environment, supporting aseptic manufacturing activities.

Labelling products accurately and ensuring compliance with product specifications.
-
Dispensing, preparing and sanitising raw materials for production.
-
Performing equipment set-up, checks, testing and routine maintenance activities.
-
Monitoring production areas to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance.

Supporting environmental and facility monitoring programmes.
-
Managing inventory within isolators and production areas.
-
Validating aseptic techniques and maintaining strict adherence to GMP principles.
-
Identifying, reporting and helping resolve production deviations and non-conformances.
-
Maintaining productivity targets while ensuring uncompromising quality standards.

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency and performance.

Ensuring medicines are manufactured and released within agreed turnaround times.
We're looking for individuals who are highly motivated, detail-oriented and passionate about quality.

GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to follow detailed procedures and work within a regulated environment.
