The Opportunity:
We’re currently looking for one casual team member to join us as Escape Room Game Host (Games Master). This is a flexible, customer-facing role ideal for someone local, as last-minute shifts are common. Full training is provided – all you need is enthusiasm and a passion for delivering great experiences.
What You'll Do:
As a Games Master, you’ll be the face of the experience while creating a memorable, exciting, and seamless journey for every team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the venue and games before opening
- Greeting and briefing players upon arrival
- Delivering engaging, themed introductions to set the scene
- Monitoring gameplay without distraction and providing hints when needed
- Resetting the game rooms between groups
- Managing phone calls and customer bookings
- Ensuring every visitor leaves with a smile
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking candidates who are enthusiastic, reliable, and confident communicators. The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A friendly and engaging personality
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Confidence using computers and basic tech systems
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A good sense of humour and a flair for performance
You must also be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as these are our busiest times. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to this schedule.
