Trainee Fire Extinguisher Engineer
Planned Fire Maintenance Limited is an established Fire Protection Company. We are looking to recruit a Trainee Fire Extinguisher Engineer. This is a 2 year trainee programme which offers a great opportunity for a reliable, determined and hard-working individual to develop their career in the Fire Protection industry as a Service Engineer.
In this site-based role you will be working alongside experienced Fire alarm engineers from whom you will gain valuable experience in all aspects of Fire Protection. Formal training leading to industry certification will be provided.
· Applicants to be over 19.
· You must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
· This is a physically demanding role as you'll be carrying Fire Extinguishers from your company van to the clients' offices, along with your toolbox.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide installation and maintenance to fire extinguishers that are worked on in accordance with Company and British Standard requirements.
- Travel between sites on a scheduled basis, working to a high standard and in accordance with the relevant British Standards.
- Complete relevant service and call-out paperwork for all types of work in a timely and accurate manner at the time of site attendance submitted to the Office Manager every Friday.

Benefits:
· The standard working hours will be 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch. However, due to the nature of our works you may be expected to work outside of these hours if required.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
