Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor/Security Guard SIA License holders to ensure the safety and security of our upcoming event security in Cardiff, Newport and sorounding areas and sorounding areas.The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanour, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations, emergency situations. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and maintaining a secure environment in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security threats or hazards
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious activity and intervening when necessary
- Respond promptly to incidents, including disputes or emergencies, with professionalism and discretion
- Provide first aid assistance when required, following established protocols
- Record all security activities accurately in incident reports and maintain logs of daily activities
- Enforce venue policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all attendees and staff
Experience
- Must have SIA Door Supervisor License
- Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is desirable
- Certification or training in first aid & ACT is compusury.
- Excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
