The Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with the team to deliver high‑quality care and engaging activities that spark curiosity and imagination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the planning and delivery of stimulating, age‑appropriate activities
- Building warm, positive relationships with children and their families
- Ensuring the environment is safe, clean, and inclusive
- Observing and recording children’s progress in line with EYFS requirements
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high standard of care
- Promoting safeguarding and following all nursery policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable)
- Experience in an early years setting
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient and adaptable approach
- Understanding of the EYFS framework
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
