Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Large Works Joiner to join a leading social housing contractor delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across residential properties. This is temporary role at the moment with a view to go permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team working on a variety of large-scale housing improvement programmes, including kitchen and bathroom installations and wider property refurbishment works.
Duties
- Carry out all aspects of first and second fix joinery within occupied and void social housing properties
- Complete kitchen and bathroom installations to a high standard
- Fit skirting boards, architraves, window boards, flooring, and other joinery components
- Work closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and company standards
Experience
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working as a Joiner within social housing, planned works, or refurbishment projects
- Experience carrying out kitchen and bathroom replacements
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence
