Overview
7th Heaven Bakery is opening at Eden Shopping Centre, High Wycombe, and we are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Baristas to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for coffee and hospitality, and takes pride in delivering a warm and memorable customer experience.
You will be responsible for preparing high-quality drinks, serving our cakes, desserts and food items, taking customer orders, processing payments and maintaining a clean, welcoming front-of-house environment.
Previous barista or hospitality experience is preferred, but full training will be provided to suitable candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, teas and other drinks, in line with company standards.
- Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive and efficient service.
- Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about our cakes, desserts, drinks and other menu items.
- Serve food and beverage orders for both dine-in and takeaway customers.
- Prepare and present light food items where required.
- Operate the till and card payment system accurately.
- Process payments and handle cash responsibly.
- Maintain attractive and well-stocked cake, dessert and beverage displays.
- Keep counters, tables, seating areas, equipment and customer-facing areas clean and organised.
- Follow food hygiene, allergen awareness and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Restock cups, packaging, ingredients and other supplies throughout the shift.
- Assist with opening and closing duties where required.
- Work closely with kitchen and bakery team members to ensure orders are prepared and served efficiently.
- Remain calm, organised and professional during busy trading periods.
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere where every customer leaves with a positive impression.
About you

Experience and qualifications
- Previous barista, cafe, bakery, restaurant, retail or front-of-house experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience handling customer orders and payments would be beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and allergen procedures is desirable.
- Good communication and basic numerical skills are required.
- Barista, food hygiene or customer service training would be an advantage, although training can be provided.

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
