We are looking for a Receptionist to join the team at Lochgreen House Hotel in Troon. The role is the first point of contact for guests arriving at the hotel, so ensuring they receive a warm and welcoming experience is key. You will be responsible for checking guests in and out, using our booking system effectively, up-selling and answering guest queries both face to face and over the phone.

- Greeting and assisting guests at reception, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Answering calls and responding to enquiries from prospective customers and guests, taking messages where required.
- Managing the hotel booking system, including checking guests in and out and processing payments.
- Assisting guests with requests and providing excellent customer service throughout their stay.
- Working closely with other departments and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a seamless guest experience.
- Maintaining a professional and organised reception area at all times.
- Previous customer service or reception experience would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Friendly, professional, and well-presented.
- Strong I.T. and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to customer service.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
