We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Cleaning Operative to join our successful Facilities Team. You will be based at our clients site in Lisburn.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 9am-3pm 30 hrs per week
Role and Responsibilities
Cleaning duties to include:
- General Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal across warehouse floors and common areas.
- Equipment Operation: Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment, including potentially large-scale machines like ride-on scrubbers and sweepers.
- Staff Area Maintenance: Keep staff facilities, such as restrooms, locker rooms, and canteens, clean and hygienic.
- Waste Management: Empty bins, dispose of general rubbish, and manage recycling according to company policy.
- Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone and report any maintenance issues.
- Deep Cleaning: Assist with more intensive cleaning tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Previous cleaning / janitorial experience.
- Be able to read and follow instructions.
- Reliable, honest and trustworthy.
- Fit and healthy, with good mobility.
- Able to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Valid clean driving licence
Pay: £13.50 per hour
