About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Milk Packing Operative to join a busy dairy production facility near Shepton Mallet. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking to work within a fast-paced food production enviroment.
As a Milk Packing Operative, you will be responsible for packing milk products, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and supporting the smooth running of the production line.
Key Responsibilities
- Labelling and packing milk products accurately
- Monitoring production lines and reporting any issues
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Preparing products for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic working enviroment
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
- Meeting daily production targets
Requirements
- Previous production, packing, or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
- Basic understanding of food hygiene procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced enviroment
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- The ability to carry out a manual job
Working Hours
7.00am until finish, Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours a week
