We’re looking for two reliable, hard-working cleaners to join our evening team at D’Oyly’s Café. If you take pride in leaving everything spotless and enjoy working to exceptionally high standards, we’d love to hear from you.
Hours
8:00pm – Midnight
7 days a week (rota shared between two team members)
Your responsibilities
At the end of each trading day you will ensure the entire venue is cleaned and reset ready for the following morning, including:
* Thorough cleaning of the café and all front of house areas
* Cleaning and organising all storerooms
* Cleaning the customer deck and external customer areas
* Deep cleaning of customer toilets
* Cleaning behind and beneath refrigeration and equipment
* Sweeping, mopping and sanitising all floors
* Cleaning and sanitising all food preparation and service areas
* Emptying bins and replacing liners
* Returning everything to its correct place
* Completing scheduled weekly deep-clean tasks
* Reporting any maintenance issues or damage
What we’re looking for
* A strong eye for detail
* Pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards
* Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
* Able to work independently and efficiently
* Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred, although full training will be provided
Our standard
This isn’t a quick tidy-up. We expect every shift to leave the café, stores, toilets and customer areas immaculately clean and fully prepared for the morning team. Every surface, every corner and every piece of equipment should be cleaned with care so the front-of-house team can begin service immediately.
