Support Worker
Location: Aylesbury
Pay rate: £13.01 per hour - Weekly and Monthly Pay available!
Shift pattern: 07.30 am- 19.30pm (days), 19.30pm- 07.30 am (nights)
Contract: 24 Hours Per Week
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Aylesbury, supporting an active and sociable gentleman living in a residential care setting.
The gentleman has a Brain Injury and Epilepsy and requires person-centred support to help him maintain his independence and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle. He is verbal, physically mobile, and enjoys engaging in a variety of activities both at home and in the community. While he values his independence, he benefits from guidance, encouragement, prompting, and reassurance throughout the day to support his daily routines, wellbeing, and personal goals.
Experience & Skills of a Support Worker:

Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, or in a similar care role is desirable.

Experience supporting individuals with Brain Injury, Epilepsy, or neurological conditions is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

A caring, patient, and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others.

Ability to provide reassurance, guidance, and encouragement while promoting independence.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.

Confident supporting individuals in a residential setting and within the local community.

Calm and proactive approach, with the ability to respond appropriately in a variety of situations.

Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Good observation skills and the ability to recognise and report changes in health or wellbeing.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
