We are looking for an experienced, organised and professional Care Office Administrator to join our friendly team at Belgrave Care. Must come from a care admin background.. This is an important role within our growing company, providing essential administrative support and helping the office run smoothly. You will have worked within the care industry as part of a a management team having an excellent knowledge of compliance needed within the care sector.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the office.
* Assisting with recruitment, including arranging interviews, checking documentation and preparing staff files.
* Maintaining accurate and confidential employee and customer records.
* Supporting compliance requirements and ensuring documentation is complete and up to date.
* Inputting information accurately onto company systems.
* Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
* Assisting with audits and general quality monitoring* Reception duties, including welcoming visitors.
* Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries professionally.
* Writing letters, emails and other business correspondence.
* Taking accurate minutes during meetings.
* Filing, scanning, photocopying and general office administration.
* Supporting the wider care team when required.
The successful candidate must be pleasant, professional and approachable, with a good sense of humour and a flexible attitude. Strong organisational and time-management skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and maintain attention to detail.
You must be able to work well as part of a team while also using your own initiative and working independently when required. As the role involves handling confidential information, discretion and professionalism are essential.
Previous administrative experience is required, and experience within the care sector is essential in the capacity of an office role. Applicants should be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel, and be comfortable learning new computer systems.
